Education programs at Brown Mackie College focus on providing students with the right mix of professional and technical skills that are important for successful teaching careers. Students gain an important understanding of business principals as well as technical proficiency for the education field. In addition to focused elementary education programs, the general education components of the curriculum encourage students to develop critical problem solving, communication, and analysis skills. This innovative curriculum set prepares students for confident entry into professional teaching careers.

Early Childhood Education
(Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Science)
The Early Childhood Education associate of applied science degree program helps students develop their professional skill set in the areas of growth and development, guidance and assessment, and health, safety and nutrition. Approved by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), this program prepares graduates for a variety of entry-level positions in nursery schools, early intervention settings, school-age programs and group-care homes.
